Here are some pics of my bathroom renovations<\/a>! \u00a0It took my mom, dad and I two days and five trips to Home Depot (which, luckily, is like, a mile from my house) to get the toilets, sinks and misc. hardware in for both bathrooms. \u00a0My dad did most of the hard work. \u00a0Mom and I also did the painting in the master Sunday. I took Monday off and did most of the hall bath painting and went shopping for linens. \u00a0I think all told it’s taken around $1500 including having the plumber out to put cutoffs under the sinks, the paint, linens, toilets, and the vanity\/hardware sets in both bathrooms. \u00a0Not too bad, right?<\/p>\n

Still haven’t finished painting the hall (blue) bathroom nor do I have the door put back on the master, OR a new shower curtain or window curtain in there so, least private home bathroom EVER right now. \u00a0Hopefully that’ll get taken care of next weekend, except the window curtains. \u00a0I have spent a TON of time going to like a dozen stores and looking online for a curtain I liked and couldn’t find one that matches well enough, so I’m going to buy two shower curtains and my mom is going to make a window curtain out of the second shower curtain. \u00a0\ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

It’s seriously like a whole new room in both of them. \u00a0I’m hoping to sell the house in the next two years and I think this is gonna really increase my resale value. \u00a0The bathtubs still need an upgrade but they both work just fine. \u00a0I might leave that to the new owners. :v \u00a0Now literally the bathtubs and the stove are the ONLY hardware type things in the house that are original to the house when I got it. \u00a0I guess if you want to count the kitchen cabinets, but not countertops or sink<\/a>, those, too. \u00a0Oh and the floors are new, too<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
