Over the summer our company had our first SoCII Audit. \u00a0I ended up doing a TON of work for it, my boss pretty much put me in charge of making sure we were ready in many ways. \u00a0Our entire team worked our butts off for a couple of weeks.<\/p>\n
The Audit was the week of August 20th and we not only passed but we got No Exception on over 50 control objectives. \u00a0Basically we got 100% on Hard Mode. \u00a0It’s a huge deal. \u00a0We’re basically rock stars at our little company right now for this. \u00a0It’s a key thing in making sure we get a few HUGE clients, retaining some that we have an are able to approach more contacts that will hopefully someday be clients now that we have this.<\/p>\n
For our work, my boss gave us each a week off that didn’t come out of our PTO AND bonus checks.<\/p>\n
Mine was sizable enough to pay for the new tires I had to put on my car yesterday plus the renovations I’m doing to both my bathrooms this weekend. \u00a0And I mean, not the entire bathrooms, but new wooden vanities, simulated marble countertops, sinks, all the hardware for the faucet stuff (including\u00a0faucets), towel holder, hand towel holder, tp holder, and wood framed mirror and wood medicine cabinet. \u00a0Plus we’re going to paint both of them and put a new backspash up, and new toilets. \u00a0Really looking forward to that. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n
Later this month my mom and I will be going to visit my new twin\u00a0niece\u00a0and nephew that were born in August, plus of course my brother, sis-in-law and other nephew. \u00a0Coupled with getting to finally meet Molly IRL last month (twice, actually \ud83d\ude42 ) it’s been a really great couple of months! \u00a02012 has been a fantastic year, actually. \u00a0Hoping things continue being awesome for a long time. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
